Administrators can remotely assign password security policies through the Renati Management Engine. Each policy defines the required level of password strength, allowing organizations to enforce password requirements appropriate to their operational environment.

Password Entropy Profiles

• Convenient: Designed for environments where usability is prioritized while maintaining baseline security.
• Balanced: Recommended for most enterprise deployments, providing a balance between accessibility and protection.
• Protected: Designed for corporate-managed devices requiring stronger authentication controls.
• Restricted: Suitable for regulated industries and environments requiring enhanced security controls.
• Maximum: Designed for government, classified, and air-gapped environments requiring the highest level of protection.

The selected policy determines the minimum password security requirements that must be met before a password can be accepted.
