Advantages of a Web Based Installer
Many users hesitate to use a web-based installer due to common misconceptions, but it is designed to be both safe and reliable and make sure you always have the latest build. If an issue arises, simply retrying the installation will typically resolve it.
While a soft brick may occur if the installation is interrupted, the installer provides step-by-step recovery guidance. In the worst case, you can restore your device to factory settings using Google’s Android Flash Tool and try again.
Most soft bricks we’ve encountered are a result of hardware-related issues, but automation significantly reduces risks, making the web installer safer than manual flashing. For instance, manually flashing the wrong build can result in a brick, but the web installer prevents this by ensuring the correct version is installed for your device.
If your phone disconnects during installation, the process will stop and provide instructions to fix the issue. Due to the way the flashing protocol works, your phone will not be permanently bricked. The system is sent in full to the device before flashing begins, so if a disconnect occurs during the transfer, nothing will be damaged. the process continues even if the USB connection is lost.
During development, we intentionally unplugged devices mid-installation and used faulty cables numerous times, and not a single device was bricked.
